Acting is a muscle — and there's no better time to start building it than now. The Young Actors program is for students aged 14–19 who are ready to take the craft seriously. Like athletics or learning an instrument, acting technique rewards disciplined, consistent practice — and it builds skills that carry far beyond the stage. Learning to set a clear objective, find your way through obstacles, stay present under pressure, and connect genuinely with the people around you — these aren't just acting skills, they’re life skills. The program follows the same progressive sequence as our adult curriculum: Core Technique, Creating Character, Scene Study Intensive, and Acting for the Camera. Start at the beginning and move through each stage when you're ready.

Courses 2026

I. core technique for young actors: discover your acting muscle

Fall session: wednesdays 16:00 - 18:00, september 16 - November 11
Fee: €350

Lay your foundation and start training the essentials. In Core Technique, you'll work with games and exercises that move you out of your head and into your body — building presence, focus, and genuine connection with your scene partners. From there, you'll move into script analysis, learning how stories work and identifying key elements like conflict and objective. Once you've discovered your acting muscle, you're ready to build your characters in the next stage.

II. creating character for young actors: BUILD your acting muscle

schedule TBD
FEE: €350

Develop the tools that bring your characters to life. In Creating Character, you'll learn to build believable human beings from the inside out — grounded in the world of the play, with their own history, voice, and body. Through advanced work in vocal production, physical characterization, and imaginative technique, you'll stretch your expressive range and discover how to bring depth and specificity to roles that are nothing like you. This is where acting stops being imitation and starts being creation. Designed for students who have completed Core Technique. Advanced students may join by interview.

III. scene study intensive for young actors: STRETCH your acting muscle

schedule TBD
FEE: €400

Step into performance with scene study. In Scene Study Intensive, you'll take on high-stakes scenes from the dramatic repertoire — the same material professional actors train on — and apply everything you've built in Core Technique and Creating Character. In a collaborative, rehearsal-like setting, you'll explore what your characters want, how they pursue it, and what happens when they collide. The course culminates in a public presentation: your first real audience. Designed for students who have completed Creating Character. Advanced students may join by interview.

IV. acting for the camera: focus Your acting muscle

schedule TBD
Fee: €400

Refocus your skills for a different medium. In Acting for the Camera, you'll learn what changes — and what doesn't — when the stage becomes a screen. You'll develop technical awareness of framing and focal points, and practice the precision and spontaneity the camera demands. Whether your interest is film and television or producing your own self-tape auditions, this course gives you the tools to work confidently in front of a lens. Ideal for students who have completed Core Technique. Advanced students may join by interview.

Coaching

Nail your audition

€125/Hr. for private coaching (€100/hr. for current students)

Do you have a big audition coming up? Are you trying out for a play or trying to get into an elite training program? The Acting Muscle can help make sure you know what you’re doing from the moment you step in the room. We’ll help you establish your character’s objective, break your monologue down into beats, connect emotionally with the text, and play grounded, believable actions. Casting directors will know that you have the chops to own a role, and own the stage. We’ll also work with you on techniques to help calm your nerves, stay focused and on point, and show off not only your acting skills, but your relaxed, open, and generous self.
