The ensemble
Emiliano Bonetta is an electronic music producer, performer, and sound engineer, as well as a devoted endurance sports enthusiast. He holds an MBA from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm. His fascination with the acting craft led him to start taking classes at The Acting Muscle. He previously appeared in the role of Dev in the Ensemble’s production of Stupid Fucking Bird.
Maria Chotou, originally from Greece, works in the events and media industry. Her love of theater began back in Athens, where she participated in student theater groups and performed in local theaters. In 2022, she started taking improv classes in Berlin and joined the English-speaking theater collective Shakespeare: Reloaded, appearing as Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew at Neue Bühne Friedrichshain and as Amelia in The House of Bernarda Alba at Theater Verlängertes Wohnzimmer. Maria previously appeared in the role of Sorn in the Ensemble’s production of Stupid Fucking Bird.
Michalis Makris is mainly a corporate lawyer. When he started taking classes at The Acting Muscle back in 2022, he was convinced that it’s never too late to live one’s dream. And he’s been living it ever since, outside working hours. He has acted with the Ensemble in three previous projects, including Scenes from an Execution and Closer.
Gaëlle Ptak is a French performing arts enthusiast and musical theater geek who never did anything about it until now. By day she works as a compliance officer, having earned a law degree in France. She began training at The Acting Muscle in 2023 and this is her first appearance with the Ensemble. She isn’t sure exactly how she will continue her acting career, but she is really happy to be here. She previously appeared as Masha in Stupid Fucking Bird.
Eléonore Turri has spent the past 20 years dancing and singing onstage, including with the Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal, the Prague State Opera, the Komische Oper Berlin, and most recently with the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm im Theater am Potsdamer Platz. She has studied acting since 2022, and recently played the main role in the mid-length film Mermaid in the Desert. She began training at The Acting Muscle last year and appeared as Emma in the Ensemble’s production of Stupid Fucking Bird. Eléonore is French, raised in Paris, but happily calls Berlin her home.
Anna Zhikhareva has been connected to the world of acting since childhood, whether performing, creating, or simply being inspired by the craft. She has completed a variety of acting courses and performed in theater productions, improv, short independent films, and music videos. Playing the ukulele, writing songs, and dancing are part of the creative toolkit she brings to the stage. Outside the theater, Anna brings stories to life in a different way as an experience designer, helping brands connect with people through thoughtful, emotionally resonant experiences. She started training with The Acting Muscle in 2021. This is her third performance with the Ensemble.
