Have you ever dreamed of being an actor? Have you ever considered taking an acting class and then chickened out? The Acting Muscle offers a series of free workshops to give anyone who's curious a chance to learn the fundamentals of acting in a fun, safe environment. We'll play theater games and learn how to identify objectives and actions in a script. We'll work on short scenes. We'll talk about what it means to be an actor, both as a profession and as a hobby. If you're a more seasoned performer, don't be shy. Come warm up your instrument and rev up your creativity. You can come to as many of the workshops as you want, but you'll learn more if you come to all three! Just email hallo@theactingmuscle.com to register.

Learning these techniques of approaching a text fundamentally changed the way I viewed theater, people and the world around me. After Adam’s class, analyzing actions is my second nature, in turn creating the results I desire not only in my craft, but in my career and personal life.
— Alexander Knoll, Actor and Director

Instructor: Adam Ludwig.

The course will be conducted in English. Students are encouraged to contribute ideas or ask questions in German or French. Copies of readings, assigned scenes, and plays will be provided.
